On May 29, Pravo.ru hosted its annual conference, "Antitrust Law: The Next Level," where participants discussed key issues in competition regulation, including foreign investment oversight, the impact of digital platform laws on the Russian market, and new merger clearance requirements set by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS).

Rinat Galitdinov, Senior Advisor at Kesarev, took part in the second session, "Panel Discussion: Antitrust Law and Enforcement in a Borderless Business Environment." He shared insights on key trends and business growth opportunities within the antitrust frameworks of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and BRICS markets.

The discussion was moderated by Vitaly Zhigulin, Partner at Kesarev. The panel explored crucial aspects of cross-border antitrust regulation, harmonization of BRICS and EAEU legislation, and practical challenges faced by businesses and regulators. Participants included representatives from competition authorities (FAS Russia), academia, the EAEU Court, as well as legal and business consulting experts—providing a well-rounded perspective on antitrust issues, from theory to real-world cases.
